Olympic Gardens joined Claro KSAFA Major League champions Greenwich Town as the promoted teams to play in the Super League next season.

Olympic Gardens finished second on 36 points, six behind the champions Greenwich Town and two above Police National on 34 points.

Marvin Thomas scored the all-important goal in the 76th minute as Olympic Gardens edged Molynes United 1-0 to secure second spot as the season ended.

Olympic Gardens finished with 10 wins from 20 games, including six draws and four defeats. They scored 23 goals while conceding 16 for a plus seven goal difference.

With Greenwich Town already securing championship honours two weeks ago, the race was on for second spot between three teams.

Cooreville Gardens who started the day in second spot on 34 points, crashed to a 3-0 defeat to Central Kingston and slipped to fourth.

Goals by Reynaldo Daley (2nd), Errol Dixon (18th) and Davion Roberts (51st) secured victory for Central Kingston and broke the hearts of the Cooreville Gardens' faithful.

Central Kingston with their eighth win climbed a spot to sixth with 30 points.

Police National, who were also in the promotional race, finished third on 34 points after they could only muster a 1-1 draw with Brown's Town.

Akeem Harrison gave Brown's Town a 40th-minute lead, but Andrew Palmer equalised for the lawmen in the 63rd minute for a share of the points which was not good enough.

Brown's Town finished in eighth spot on 27 points with a record of seven wins, six draws and seven defeats from their 20 games.

Meanwhile, Seaview Gardens and Allman/Woodford battled to a 2-2 draw in a game of academic interest.

Two goals in two minutes by Andre Dawson (45th) and veteran Marvin Morgan Snr (47th) gave Seaview a two-goal lead.

But Allman/Woodford responded with two goals in four minutes, courtesy of Kemar Aarons (54th) and Andrew Andrews (58th), to earn a share of the points.

Seaview finished fifth on 31 points while Allman/Woodford finished in ninth spot on 23 points, 10 more than the relegated Moynes United on 13 points.

Champion Greenwich Town, who collected the winning trophy last week, had their rest day and were inactive this week.

Congratulations to Greenwich Town and Cavalier, the Claro Major and Super League champions.
