Worried my brother will follow in daddy's footsteps |

Dear Pastor,
This is my second letter to you and I hope you will respond. My father was a wild man and he died from AIDS. He was living with my mother. Because he was so wild, she left him. She didn't catch the disease from him while they were together. We know because she did an HIV test and it was negative. I am worried about my brother who is following in my father's footsteps. He has many girlfriends, and some of them are not the good type of girls. You can know them by the way they dress. He brought three of them to the house one night and they all slept on the same bed with him. He doesn't have any respect for me and I am his older sister. When I told him to be careful about AIDS, he said he doesn't believe in the condom and his girls are clean. All the girls are fighting over him because he is brown and handsome. I am worried but he is not. E.M. Dear E.M., I regret hearing that your father has passed on. Your mother made the right decision when she left him. I do hope that your brother would take heed. At present, he is not behaving as a wise man. Only a foolish man does not take instruction. You have been doing your best to warn him but you can only do so much and no more. He is having unprotected sex with different women. It is his life and he does not believe in protecting it. How can he be sure all his women "are clean"? He is talking nonsense. Pastor |
