|
A man who was arrested for braiding hair on the street pleaded guilty in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Winston Cousins of a Kingston address was charged with braiding hair in a public place. Cousins was fined $700 or 10 days in jail. Allegations are that he was aided by another accused person, Jacqueline Plumber, who was charged with aiding and abetting the braiding of hair in a public place but was not present before the court to answer to charges yesterday. The police saw Cousins on the side of the road and arrested him for conducting this service in a public place without a proper licence. |
