No order made in stabbing case

A no order was made at the request of the complainant in the unlawful wounding case against an 18-year-old woman on Friday in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's (RM) Court.

Dominique Hall, a cosmetologist, was before the court arising from an incident on January 28.

The court heard that the complainant, Enrique Tracey, was sitting in a bar sleeping when the accused used a scissors to stab him in his shoulder.

The complainant told the court he and Hall had a relationship and she was upset because he ended it.

"She go ova mi yard and call out mi mother and tell her she ago kill mi ... Mi ova the bar and she use the scissors and run straight through mi neck, she all mek man run mi down," he said.

The defendant told the court that the complainant was a habitual beater and the scars on her body were evidence to show.

"He wanted me to come look for him and because mi tell him say mi a go one party him beat mi up."

Senior RM Judith Pusey warned both the accused and the complainant to stay away from each other.
