A female who was caught smoking ganja in a vehicle owned and driven by entertainer Andre 'Popcaan' Sutherland was formally charged by the Portmore police.

Reports from the St Catherine South police are that on Friday about 5 p.m., members of a police party signalled a vehicle driven by the entertainer to stop. The female was spotted smoking what turned out to be a ganja cigar inside the car.

She was arrested and taken to the Portmore Police Station where she was charged with smoking ganja.

The woman, who is scheduled to appear in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court, was granted station bail.
