Spice's 'Jim Screechie Saturdays' kicks off tomorrow

Spice

Dancehall diva Spice returned to the island recently after a weekend stint in Miami recording with producer Tony Kelly, and is now ready to kick off yet another staging of 'Jim Screechie Saturdays'.

The event which will be staged at her establishment, the 8 Ball Bar and Lounge in Bayside Plaza, Portmore, will cater to those who are young at heart and who live in Portmore.

She says, "Before I had the baby, we had started the series by the Lounge and with the baby and other things going on I didn't have as much time to focus on the event. So we will be back there every Saturday night. We are right above Genus Pharmacy, so if people know where to find that, then they will know where we are."

She continued, "It's a free party, so people never have to worry about admission. What we will have though are some great drink specials all night and great music. In Portmore there's hardly anything to do, so instead of persons always travelling to Kingston just to have a good time, we are there to cater to our young people who want to have inexpensive but great fun."

The artiste/businesswoman and mother of two, is known for her store, Spicey Couture in Mall Plaza, Half Way Tree, her hair salon, Spicey Salon, also located in Half Way Tree and her upbeat hit singles, Fight Ova Man, Back Broad, Ramping Shop, Slim vs. Fluffy, Jim Screechie and more.
