There were even more delays in the case against Ann-Marie Williams, the driver who was involved in the January 3 motor-vehicle accident in Liguanea, St Andrew, which claimed the lives of two women. Williams, 33, had her bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Williams, who has been charged with two counts of manslaughter, will have to return to court on May 25, when the matter will be mentioned as the file is incomplete. Reports from the police are that about 5 p.m., on the day of the incident, a white Toyota Avalon motor car that was travelling along the roadway, crashed into a bus stop killing the two women and injuring five others. Those dead have been identified as 54-year-old Joanna Scarlett from a Kingston 4 address and 60-year-old Esmeralda Evans. |
