Cavalier captured their second title in two weeks as their Under-17 boys defeated Boys' Town 1-0 to retain the Claro/Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) title at Winchester Park last Thursday.

Last season Cavalier turned back Arnett Gardens for the title, and this year, Chevonne Marsh's 83rd-minute strike again denied a team from Trench Town.

Only last week Cavalier's senior team won the Super League title in what is turning out to be a wonderful year for the club.

The senior team will be involved in a four-team playoff, involving the four Confederation Super League winners, for a chance to play in the premier league.

Meanwhile, in the Claro Major League, leaders Greenwich Town scored a crucial 1-0 win over rival Olympic Gardens and opened up a four-point lead.

David Stultz got the winner for Greenwich Town in the 14th minute as they moved to 36 points while Olympic remained in second on 32 points with four games remaining.

Seaview Gardens saw their slim hopes of capturing the title all but disappear following their 1-0 loss to Police National. Malica Reid netted the winner in the 69th minute.

Seaview, who have a game in hand, slipped two spots to fifth on 26 points after suffering their sixth loss of the season from 16 games. They were overtaken by Police National who jumped to fourth on 27 points.

Cooreville Gardens moved into third spot with a comfortable 2-0 win over struggling Molynes United.

Cornelius Simms set Cooreville Gardens on their way to victory in the 49th minute before Mark Morris struck in injury time to seal the win.

With their eighth win from 17 games, Cooreville moved to 28 points into third and are eight points adrift of the leader with four games remaining.

Allman/Woodford and Central Kingston battled to a 0-0 draw at Heroes Circle.

With Brown's Town inactive, Central Kingston used the opportunity to leapfrog them into sixth spot on 24 points.

Allman/Woodford remained in ninth spot on 19 points in the 11-team league.

Meanwhile, bottom-place Stony Hill FC were suspended from KSAFA for the remainder of the season, after failing to show for their scheduled Major League game. They have done this on several occasions this season.
