Telecom provider Digicel has said it plans to incorporate Claro Jamaica's business into its own without disrupting service to Claro's
customers.
Digicel in a press release yesterday indicated that plans were in progress to incorporate Claro Jamaica's business into its own. According to Digicel, they would meet with Claro employees and dealers in an effort to iron out its plans to integrate both companies. The company said this was subject to the requisite approval of the deal and the closure of the transaction. In the meantime, Digicel said that once the deal was final, "Current Claro customers will have no discontinuance of service and the benefits of the enlarged network will resonate strongly with all Claro customers, many of whom are already Digicel customers. |
