STAR of the Month Protoje says he is a very private person who prefers to keep his personal relationships out of the public eye.

"I am a pretty private person. I try to keep it that way and let the focus be on my music and my craft. I am more reserved. I keep my business to myself and I keep out of other people's business," he told THE STAR.

As time progresses and his career grows, Protoje says he might open up some more.

"I am sure as I go along there will be stuff that I share, but for now it's just on the music," he said.
