Policeman on murder charge gets bail A policeman who has been charged with the murder of Negril businessman Frederick 'Mickey' Hill was granted bail in the Home Circuit Court on Friday. He is Corporal Malica Reid, who was granted bail in the sum of $500,000. Reid is to return to court on May 6. In the meantime, he has been instructed to surrender his travel documents and to report to the Mobile Reserve on Mondays and Thursdays. Hill was shot and killed by the police in Negril, Westmoreland, in November. Attorneys for Reid are seeking to have the decision of The Independent Commission of Investigations to charge the policeman dismissed by the Supreme Court. |
