Patrons who turned up at The Quad on Friday were treated to hours of non-stop fun and entertainment. They seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the high-energy vibe and the great music presented throughout the night. When THESTAR arrived at The Quad, patrons were busy lyming at Christopher's, Quad's ground-floor lounge. They chatted and had beverages while eating fried chicken, buffalo wings, white rice and rice and peas among a variety of other food. They rocked to songs such as Say Aah, Already Taken,Party Like It's Your Birthday and Beautiful Girls. Patrons continued to frequent the buffet throughout the course of the night and the musical vibe was continuously maintained through songs such as Mavado's Pepper, Assassin's Nutten At All, Richie Loop's My Cup and I-Octane and Zamunda's Badda Dan Dem. Newly decorated walls and chairs among other changes stood out in what was once called the Oxygen lounge but has now been renamed Visionz. On the packed dance floor, patrons danced to Taio Cruz's Dynamite while waving hands in the air. song selections The discjockey spun mainly hip-hop and dancehall songs such as DJ Got Us Fallin In Love, Only Girl In The World, I Got A Feeling, Mine How You A Diss, Hustlin' and Ridin' Dirty. Stay Far From We and Boom Bye Bye received big forwards as patrons shouted "boom boom" and "bap bap" among other imitations of gun sounds. The deejay also shared with patrons his wish for 'Shearers' rather than 'nannys' through Trailer Load A Money. The ladies were not left out of the mix as Bubble Like Soup, Beat'n Beat'n, Like Christmas, Betta Can Wuk and Slow Motion all had them dancing the night away. The Quad was recently upgraded and changes are to be made to all floors. Those to Visionz and the club's exterior have already been made and the other floors (Christopher's, Voodoo and Taboo lounges) will be completed by the end of April.
