Three-month sentence for assault |

|
A woman was sentenced to three months in prison though she was absent from court when the matter was mentioned yesterday. She is Marion Percell from a Kingston 11 address. She has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm. Allegations are that on July 31, 2010, the complainant, Blossom Hussey, was walking along Grants Pen Road when the defendant approached her and accused her of speaking about her with her mother. A dispute ensued which caused the complainant to suffer injuries to her hands, wrists and side. The defendant said that the accused also threatened to push her into a nearby gully. A warrant has been issued for Percell's arrest. |
