Veteran singer, Singing Sweet recently shot the music video for his new single Weh Dem A Duh that had garnered the full support of the Grants Pen community.

Singing Sweet, whose real name is Paul McFarlene, said the song, which is featured on Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor's Pepper rhythm, has been receiving good airplay on local and international radio stations.

"It play every day and constantly too," he said.

"It has gotten the most airplay out of all my songs that I have done in the past couple of years," the Big Ship singer said.

On the day of the video shoot, Grants Pen Avenue was filled with enthusiastic residents who clogged the lanes and corners where the video was being shot, eagerly awaiting their time in the spotlight.

In addition to the scenes that were shot at Grants Pen Avenue, some scenes were also shot at the Big Ship studio in Havendale.

Sweet told THESTAR the song spoke about persons who are not fond of the idea of others gaining success in life.

"The video now, is just me vibing and having a good time with the people in the community," he said.

Singing Sweet sung his way onto the music scene when he was just 14 years old, belting out three mega hits; Oh Donna, When I See You Smile and Glory Of Love.

Other songs from Singing Sweet that are getting favourable airplay are Look Good on the Street Swag rhythm and Investing on the Winnings rhythm, both produced by Big Ship Records.
