Metamorphosis, which is a Best Dressed Fun In The Son Festival event, will cater to young people who wish to enjoy great gospel music in a party environment. The praise party, which begins at 7 p.m., will end at midnight and will cater to every young gospel-enthusiast's needs.

"Not only will we be having music from some of the best disc jockeys in the gospel party circuit , but we will also have lots of great non-alcoholic drink mixes and light food at the venue. The aim of the party is for young Christians to have somewhere to party with friends and enjoy great gospel music and worship in a Christian environment. It's not a concert, it's a praise party. So there won't be any performances, strictly great gospel selections and mixing," said Nathan Cowan of Glory Music, organiser of Metamorphosis.

He continued: "Metamorphosis represents a rebirth or a change and as the name says, it's from "darkness to light". Our youth are exposed to so many temptations and peer pressure so, as a nation, we need to find ways to preoccupy their minds with not only safe, but also wholesome things, so that we can start seeing a change in their values and attitudes. This is just the first step - filling their minds with clean, positive music the night before the grand concert."

Music at Metamorphosis will be provided by Marlon Young - The Gate Keeper, Kevin Lewis of Mega Jamz and Marshy Redz. Admission to the event is only $300 while students with ID pay $100.

The free Best Dressed Fun In The Son grand concert takes place tomorrow at the UWI, Mona Bowl, featuring international gospel artiste, Tye Tribbett alongside, Papa San, Carlene Davis, Prodigal Son, Kevin Downswell, Judith Gayle and more.
