Murder suspect held - News - Jamaica Star

A 28-year-old man was taken into police custody on Friday evening during an operation in Roaring River district, Westmoreland.

Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar police are that the man, who was held about 11:30 a.m., was identified as the main suspect in last year's murder of Delano Peddy outside his home at Segree Street in Savanna-la-Mar.

Peddy was shot dead on July 5, 2010 about 3:30 a.m.

Police said the identity of the man in custody is being withheld pending further investigations.
