A boastful boss and an equally 'boasy' employee who accused him of owing him retroactive wages, traded harsh words in the parking lot of a police station in the Kingston Central division recently.
The incident occurred last Friday in the presence of THE STAR and other people including police personnel just after the men exited the station where the employee had filed a complaint against the boss. The boss exited in a fit of rage as he accused his employee of being a dunce, saying, " if me put yuh name pon bulla yuh eat it ... you a dunce ... you a dunce,". The comment did not go down well with the disgruntled employee who responded, "you tink you can put my name pon bulla and me eat it? ... gweh", which amused onlookers. The argument took a twist as the boss questioned the employee's claims that he owed him money as he described himself to be in great financial standing as he owns numerous assets. show off That claim infuriated the employee who shouted, "a rent house you live inna and a borrow people car and a come show off". He pointed to the boss' car in the parking lot and accused him of falsely owning his wife brother's car before adding "a four car me have park up inna my driveway". "You own car? You own car? You don't own any car," the boss responded. He immediately used his cellphone to call to a woman who was apparently his wife and made sure to put the phone on the loud speaker. A woman answered. "Babes, guess who have me a station an a seh me owe him money and a seh me and you live inna rent house?" he asked. Nonetheless, the woman declined to comment as she only laughed before the call was later disconnected. A woman constable later emerged from the station's guard room and advised both men that they were disturbing proceedings inside the station which caused both men to lower their voices. The matter concerning both men is set to be brought before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court at a later date. |
