The police destroyed one and a half acres of fully grown ganja as well as a half acre of seedling in Waterworks, West-moreland, yesterday.

A release from the Jamaica Constabulary Force said about 8 a.m. the Whithorn police were carrying out operations in the area when the field was discovered. They reportedly set it ablaze and supervised the burning.

No arrest was made in connection with the find. Investigations continue.
