An Ananda Alert has been activated for 16-year-old Oneika-Simone Barnett of Richmond Crescent, Kingston 10, who has been missing since Tuesday, March 8.

She is of brown complexion, slim build, and about 173 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) tall.

Reports from the Half-Way Tree police are that relatives last saw Oneika-Simone about 7 a.m. when she left home for school. However, she did not return home as expected and has not been seen or heard from since.

When last seen, she was wearing her school uniform - blue skirt, cream blouse with a cream and blue plaid tie - and a pair of pink slippers.

She is said to frequent the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre in St Andrew.

Anyone knowing Barnett's whereabouts is being asked to contact the Half-Way Tree police at 926-8184, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
