They are Michael Beckford, Everton Barnett, and Johnny Wilby all attached to the Area Five police division. When the case was mentioned, all three pleaded not guilty. Attorneys-at-law Peter Cham-pagnie and Christopher Townsend made successful bail applications on behalf of their client. Resident Magistrate Ann-Marie Nembhard, then granted bail on condition that the three accused return to the court. threatened prostitiute The Crown led evidence that in July last year, the policemen went to Port Henderson Road, more popularly known as Back Road, where they grabbed a prostitute, placed her inside their vehicle and threatened to lock her up. The court heard that she was taken to a house in Waterford where they reportedly took turns raping her. She reported the matter to the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.
