Cali P has been making major moves on the international reggae market since the release of his Like A Lion (Hot Steppa) single which was produced by Phantom.

The song is being used as the soundtrack for a documentary feature film of the same name about seven-time ESPN X-Games gold medallist, Tanner Hall.

The artiste also recently embarked on a six-week European tour to promote Unstoppable, one of his two albums which are to be released.

In the chorus of the song, Cali P deejays, I'm mean like a lion/ I'm free like a lion/ Mi move and have the authority/ Tell dem man a hot, hot, hot, hot, hot steppa/ Like a lion man a hot, hot, hot, hot, hot steppa.

In a recent interview with THE STAR, Cali P labelled Like A Lion as his most popular song to date saying, "It has been getting a lot of airplay on Irie and Zip FM, as well as radio stations in France and Switzerland."

He continued, "People from all over a call mi, a seh dem hear the song a play on the radio, and everywhere wi tune in wi hear it a play."

In the first verse, Cali P deejays with well put together lyrics over the rhythm you cannot help but bob you head to saying, Introduce one time Cali P come set the style ya/ Everybody know the sittin' mad it's getting wild ya/ Coil affi guh run like oil ya/ Inspired for ma people mi see nuff hungry child yah/ So as a yute mi seh mi betta til the soil ya/ Tommorow aguh better that's the word of jah the father/ So plant a good seed and see how it guh prosper/ Some people nuh free dem brain block up like a babylon border.

His sound and style of music is different from the usual and this is what he believes will catapult him to stardom.

A video for the song was also recently done and is now on the music-video charts in Jamaica.
