Jamaica has seen several promotions within the mobile industry, but one might argue that Claro's 'The Million Dollar Calls' is revolutionary!

This promotion will allow anyone on any network to win up to $500,000 each. Latoy Williams, Claro's media manager, explained, "During this promotion, anyone on any network who makes at least a one-minute call to a Claro mobile phone makes themselves and the receiver of that call eligible to share $1 million. That is $500,000 for the caller and the receiver each." Williams continued, "Every minute of talk time will get both parties an entry. It's that simple!"

'The Million Dollar Calls' will feature a two-week Social Media Promotional Representative Roll-out. Club Claro fans should spot a Claro representative, take a photo with them, upload to the Club Claro fan page and they will receive $100 Claro credit.

Williams shared that, "This promotion will offer the continued value-added service that Claro strives to provide every day, and will encourage all Jamaicans to move up to the biggest 3G network!"

The promotion began on March 6 and ends on May 15, 2011, and will award 20 Jamaicans with $500,000 each; that is a whopping $10 million. Williams added, "Claro remains committed to giving back to Jamaica, providing the best service and quality mobile instruments. This promotion will further expose that Claro does indeed have the best value and we are very excited about the launch."
