The police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man known only as 'Daniel' who they believe could assist them with their investigations into Tawayne Sylvester's murder.

According to reports from the Portmore, St. Catherine police, on November 1, 2008 about 11:30 p.m., Sylvester was murdered along Anglin Avenue in Newlands, Portmore, St Catherine.

It is reported that 'Daniel', along with another man, accompanied Sylvester to the location on the night of his death.

'Daniel' is said to frequent the areas of Newlands and Westchester.

A description of 'Daniel' is not yet available.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of 'Daniel' is being asked to contact the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division at 948-7583, police control at 119 or Operation Kingfish at 811.
