How did you get started in the business?

I started out with Fifth Element Records. My first song, Go For The Gold, was produced by them.

What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?

Getting myself out there and knowing the music business inside out.

What have you been up to lately?

I'm recording in the studios, working on some new singles and trying to put together the long-awaited album. I'm also focusing on getting the singles back in rotation on the radio.

Do you look up to any specific artiste and why?

I look up to mostly conscious artistes, the foundations. I can't really pin down any one artiste. It's just various cultural artistes who do positive music. Me is a positive person also, because I believe in positivity and sending the right message.

Are you happy with the way things are going for your musical career right now?

Mi caan complain because I've come a far way. Mi just affi gwaan work, pray and hope for the best. I'm happy at the level that I'm at right now when compared to where I'm coming from. It's getting better.

Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?

Keep focused and just try to do positive music to uplift the nation. Hold the faith and some strong meditation.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

There's no limit to my work right now, as mi a work pon world music right now. Mi see myself just a do big things, the greatest things.
