I don't think going to the movies, especially on a first date, is a good idea. If you are in a loud movie theatre, there is no way you can have a conversation and learn more about each other. Another thing is, some guys take girls to the movies because it is dark and they can make advances on the young ladies and they might be embarrassed to say no because there are other people around who would know what is going on.

Young women should not allow men to take liberty with them, whether at the movies or elsewhere. If a guy goes too far on a date, the young woman should end the date right there and call a friend or taxi to take her home.
