Cosmetologist charged with simple larceny |

|
A woman accused of withdrawing $107,900 from her co-worker's account after she stole her ATM card pleaded guilty when she appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. She is Tracia Baily-Wint, a 32-year-old cosmetologist from St Catherine, charged with simple larceny. Baily-Wint is to return to court on March 25 for sentencing. It is alleged that between December 14 and January 31, a NCB Midas debit card was stolen from the complainant's bag. Investigations were carried out into the matter and the accused was later arrested and charged. When the matter was mentioned, the accused paid over $50,000 to the complainant, leaving an outstanding balance of $57,900. The outstanding monies are to be repaid when she returns to court. |
