A pregnant woman who is accused of taking ganja to her brother in lock-up had her bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. She is 18-year-old Arnella McLeod, unemployed, from a Kingston address, who has been charged with possession of ganja and taking steps to introduce the contraband to inmates in a lock-up. She is to return to court on April 29 when the matter will be mentioned as the file is incomplete. Allegations are that on February 6 about 1:50 p.m, while at the Kingston Central Police Station, the accused who was visiting her brother tried to smuggle a pair of blue jeans pants with its waistband filled with small foil paper wraps containing green vegetable matter resembling ganja. The accused was later arrested and charged.
