The drama that unfolded at a central Jamaica high school yesterday was exactly what you would expect to happen with adults. A grade nine male student is said to have fainted when a female classmate he had long claimed to be his girlfriend ended the relationship. According to a source at the school, the students, who are both 14, were involved in what has been described as a 'serious' relationship for the last two years. However, THE STAR has learnt from the source that things were not going well between the two over recent weeks so the girl decided to call it a day. relationship At approximately 10 a.m., just before their break period, the girl delivered the news that she had enough of the relationship and had made up her mind to walk away from their love affair. But the break-up didn't go down well with the youngster. Reports are that the male student fainted immediately in front of his classmates and their teacher, and had to be consoled by several persons. He was eventually taken to the school's nurse. It's understood that the incident became the talk of the school for almost the entire day. |
