Laughter overwhelmed the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Monday after a man accused of urinating in public had the charge against him dismissed. When Horace Webb entered the dock, he quickly pleaded guilty with explanation to the charge, littering a public place, but his explanation was good enough to have him walk away a free man and amuse the court at the same time. Webb told the court that he was about to urinate in public but just as "me tek it out, nothing no come yet," and he was accosted, which amused the court. 'not even a drop' Furthermore, he explained that "not even a drop," of urine was expelled, which re-ignited the laughter in court. Allegations are that on November 11, Webb was seen urinating on Pechon Street in downtown Kingston and was apprehended by an enforcement officer of the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA). |
