Curfew for Chisholm Avenue/Clifton Road communities |

The authorities last evening imposed a curfew on section of the Chisholm Avenue/ Clifton Road communities. In a release from the Jamaica Constabulary Force last night, the police said the curfew, which began about 6 p.m., will remain in effect until 6 a.m. tomorrow. According to the release, the boundaries of the curfew are north along Ricketts Crescent from Languard Avenue, along an imaginary line to Chisholm Avenue. East along Languard Avenue from Waltham Park Road to Ricketts Crescent. South along Waltham Park Road from Waltham Avenue to Languard Avenue and west along Chisholm Avenue to Clifton Road to Waltham Avenue to Waltham Park Road The police said that during the hours of this curfew all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of the security forces that is in charge of the operation. |
