STAR of the Month Ce'Cile is one to watch on the dancehall scene when it comes to fashion. Whether its looking glitzy on the red carpet, in music videos, classy at a formal function, young and hip for teen shows or casual for day-to-day affairs, Ce'Cile is always looking her fashionable best. Describing her sense of style, the singjay told THE WEEKEND STAR, "my fashion is funky and trendy and I try for classy as much as I can." Over the years, the singjay's sense of style has matured and grown into its own, which she acknowledges saying, "well I try to keep up, reinvent ma style just like how you reinvent the music, you can't drop your standards and I become easily bored so ..." And what is in Ce'Cile's closet currently that she simply adores? She said, "new Louis Vuitton boots from their winter collection 2010, which I have not been able to wear yet." According to Ce'Cile, she doesn't have any favourite designers, loving anything that looks good. She does however, love to wear local brand Uzuri. As for who she uses to style her, Ce'Cile commented, "I use Dexter Pottinger a lot on styling this year. We're expanding using more outside people, can't I want a more unique look?"
Ce'Cile's book drive Be apart of STAR of the Month Ce'Cile's reading initiative programme! The deejay is taking under her wing the Village All-Age School in Faith's Pen, Moneague, and is asking persons to donate age-appropriate books for the school, which caters to children from ages 6 - 12. The singjay is hoping to raise awareness about the importance of reading and how it helps in different areas of life. Village All-Age School will be the first school that Ce'Cile plans on adopting. The singjay is asking persons to leave books, (both recreational and text) at our offices at 7 North Street throughout the month of February. Persons can leave the books at our offices addressed to the 'Ce'Cile Book Initiative.' Ce'Cile seeks her 'Coffee'
