Stage Name: Fyakin

Real Name: Nicholas Levy

Birth Month: April

How did you get started in the business?

Well, I got started at a very early age, just by being around an older brother who is also a musician. I think I started doing music from I was like nine or ten, but professionally, since I was sixteen.

What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?

The politics, nothing else but the politics.

What have you been up to lately?

I'm busy working on the album with Doc MD Entertainment and promoting songs such as Make Sweet Love, Me She Want and Lock Me Down - a collaboration with Stacious.

Do you look up to any specific artiste and why?

I-Wayne, Burning Spear, there're so many. I look up to I-Wayne because of his humility, the humbleness weh him trod wid. There's also this overseas group Floetry that mix poems and songs together. How they put their stuff together, it just amazes me.

Are you happy with the way things are going for your musical career right now?

I'm very grateful because half of the artistes out there would love to be getting the strength wah I a get, so mi can't complain.

Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?

Be focused and persistent. You have to think outside the box, listen to your management team and just keep going on and on.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

Honestly, I see myself as an icon in the entertainment industry. I see myself on top of the world, making good quality music and uplifting people.
