|
As the manhunt for Nicholas 'Fire Key' Nesbeth, a key member of the 'Dog Paw' gang, continues, the question still remains as to whether disciplinary action will be taken against personnel from the Mobile Reserve. Nesbeth, who was nabbed during a police-military operation in Sterling Castle, St Andrew, was reportedly released based on an administrative error by personnel at the Mobile Reserve. Speaking with THE STAR yesterday, head of the Mobile Reserve, Assistant Commissioner George Quallo, said he cannot say if disciplinary action will be taken. However, "what I can say is that the matter is being investigated". In the meantime, Quallo stated that "all efforts are being made to apprehend Nesbeth and we are confident that in short order we will have him". According to Quallo, the police have sent out several press releases asking Nesbeth to turn himself in to the nearest police station. |
