Gay lover gets bail extension |

The gay lover, Roy Biggs, who already has an assault case pending before the court because he allegedly poked his lover in his eye, and has since been charged with robbery with violence, had his bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Biggs, who is out on $50,000 bail, and is to return to court on February 7 when the matter will be mentioned as the file is incomplete. grabbed him from behind Allegations are that on October 19, about 10 p.m., the complainant was walking along Trafalgar Road when someone grabbed him from behind. It is alleged that the complainant dropped his bag after the accused said, "stick up". It is further alleged that the complainant, who gave a full description of the accused, managed to run to the New Kingston Police Post after realising that the accused had a gun. It is alleged that the complainant was carrying $30,000 in his bag, along with a cellular phone and other personal items. The accused was later pointed out to the police by the complainant and he was arrested and charged. Name Change |
