After being delayed for two weeks, the new venue for Magnum Kings and Queens of the Dancehall was still not announced at the launch of the show that was held at Club Privilege, New Kingston, on Tuesday night. When asked why the venue was not announced at Tuesday night's launch, Kenny said, "Because everything is new this year, we want to keep it as a surprise." He also lauded the show as one of the biggest shows on TVJ last year, and thanked his production team and sponsors for their contribution. The show's new host was then introduced to the audience, and she took over the evening's proceedings. Title sponsor, Magnum, was also back on board and pledged its support for another three years. "This time of year is very special for us. It is when Jamaica looks forward to the best show on Earth, Magnum Kings and Queens of the Dancehall.
