Teen girls missing

An Ananda Alert has been activated for 16-year-old Moya Whyte of Happy News district in Alexandria, St Ann, and Christina Forbes of Roaring River, Steer Town, also in St Ann.

Whyte has been reported missing since Wednesday, January 19, while Forbes has been missing since Friday, January 28.

Whyte is of dark complexion, medium build and about 168 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall while Forbes is of brown complexion, stout build and about 162 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall.

Reports are that Moya left home for school about 7:30 a.m. but did not return. At the time, she was wearing her school uniform - grey tunic and white blouse - along with a pair of black shoes and blue socks.

Anyone knowing Whyte's whereabouts is being asked to contact the Alexandria Police at 975-1016, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

Christina's mother last saw her about 9 a.m. on Friday, January 28, and has not been seen or heard from her since. She was dressed in blue jeans shorts, yellow blouse and a pair of plaid shoes.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Forbes, they are being asked to contact the St Ann's Bay Police at 972-2211 or 972-2231, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
