'Dog Paw' charged for shooting, illegal firearm

Christopher 'Dog Paw' Linton was yesterday charged with shooting with intent and illegal possession of a firearm.

The 24-year-old was held last week Monday during an operation in the Elletson Flats area of St Andrew.

The police are alleging that Linton fired at them during the operation, hence the charges.

Two women who were held in a house with him were released by the police on Monday afternoon after being interrogated by police investigators. It was concluded that Linton ran into the house where the women were staying in an attempt to the evade the police.

In December, the police named Linton among a list of persons wanted in relation to a gruesome murder in Bedward Gardens, St Andrew.
