AFTER a powerful performance at the Central Hurdle and Relay meet at G.C.Foster College last Saturday, the powerful Holmwood Technical train are set to continue rolling today, with members of the Maurice Wilson-coached team heading to the St Elizabeth Technical Invitational meet, on the school campus today.

The Holmwood Technical female team, who have dominated the Boys and Girls' Championships for the last eight years, gave an indication to their fans that they will be on top for a long time, after excellent all-round performances a week ago.

Once again, the likes of world junior representatives, Jeneive Russell and ChrisAnn Gordon, who ran impressive legs in their commanding victory in the Girl's Open 4x400 metres, are expected to dominate their individual events in Class II, while Class III athlete Yanique Thompson, who has been doing well in her events so far, is expected to continue her impressive form.

The Michael Dyke-coached Edwin Allen team, along with the Rhansomme Edwards-coached Vere Technical team, will also be in attendance in large number at the meet. Both teams will be hoping to put a spoke in the tyre of the Holmwood team, as they hope to send a strong message before the upcoming Boys and Girls' Championships.

An exciting battle is expected in the Open 4x400 metres and 4x800 metres relays for both male and female, especially where Munro College and Holmwood are favoured in the mile relay. In the 4x800 metres event, Holmwwod Technical and Edwin Allen are expected to have a keen battle, with home team St Elizabeth Technical and Holmwood the top teams.
