Meadows tackle Naggo Head in SCC Super League

Champions Meadows look to step up their 2010 campaign a notch when they travel to St Catherine counterparts Naggo Head, in today's feature match of the South Central Confed Super League.

Naggo Head have not made a good start to the league losing both to Monymusk and Downs. Meadows, on the other hand, remain the only team with a perfect win record, after registering win number three, a 3-1 victory at their Albion home ground last weekend against St Elizabeth newcomers, Newell.

Bodles, who opened their campaign with two straight wins to share the early lead with Meadows, were humbled 1-0 by Rivoli, who have now taken over second place with seven points from two wins and a draw.

Quite interestingly, all of Rivoli's points have come against their St Catherine counterparts and it will be interesting to see how they fare when they travel to Manchester tomorrow to take on Mile Gully. Mile Gully are yet to stamp their mark on the league after drawing twice and losing a home game to Bodles.

In other games slated for today, De la Vega City who shrugged off consecutive defeats to beat Naggo Head 1-0, travel to Bodles, while Newland entertain New Bowens of Clarendon.

Tomorrow, Newell host Monymusk at Hounslow.
