She is Norma Jackson, 50-year-old businesswoman of Edgewater, St Catherine. When the case was mentioned recently, it was revealed that the police, acting on information went to Jackson's home, where they found pharmaceutical items. In applying for bail, attorney-at-law Courtney Maxwell told the court his client had the goods for personal reasons. He told the court the accused has been in custody for more than a week and it is only justified that she be granted bail. Investigators told court they need more time to complete their probe. The lawyer insisted the police had more than enough time to investigate the matter. Bail was subsequently granted by the RM on condition that Jackson report to the Bridgeport police once per week and return to court February 18.
