Cops believe 'Pazza' was main target in shooting incident

Investigators for the St Catherine South police believe one of the men killed in Thursday night's shooting incident on Milton Close, Portsmouth in St Catherine, was the main target of a group of about 10 men who wreaked havoc there.

Sources told THE STAR that the attackers were seeking the life of a man identified only as 'Pazza', a reputed member of the Spanish Town, St Catherine-based Clansman gang.

Reports are that about 10 p.m. on Thursday, a group of men were enjoying a game of dominoes when men travelling in a Toyata Hiace van and a motor car approached them and opened fire.

The others who were killed were identified as 39-year-old Owen Henry, Kenton Headley 30, Levil Anderson, 45, and 56-year-old Lerrimore Warmington, all of St Catherine addresses.

After the shooting, the police released the name of a man said to be a person of interest.

The cops identified the suspect by his alias, 'Don Topping'.

Don Topping is being urged to report to the Greater Portmore Police Station by 8 a.m. today.
