|
The female driver implicated in the motor vehicle accident which occurred at the intersection of East and North streets in Kingston, last April, faced the court yesterday. The accused, Stacey-Ann Kennedy, who is charged with dangerous driving had her bail extended until February 23 in the Corporate Area Resident Magis-trate's Court. A preliminary enquiry into the matter is expected to be ready by the next court date. The court heard that the accused was driving a truck on the day of the incident along East Street when she disobeyed the red light resulting in a vehicular collision. The truck being driven by the accused reportedly slammed into a motor car which was proceeding in an easterly direction along North Street. A pedestrian was also killed in the incident. |
