Charges have been laid against the driver of the white Toyota Avalon motor car that was involved in last Monday's fatal crash on Old Hope road in St. Andrew. Thirty-three-year-old Ann-Marie Williams of Wellington Drive, Kingston 6, was yesterday charged with two counts of manslaughter and one count of dangerous driving. Williams was offered bail in the amount of $750,000 and is booked to appear in court on January 14. Reports from the police are that about 5 p.m., a white Toyota Avalon motor car that was travelling along the roadway, crashed into a bus stop killing two women and sending five persons to the hospital. Those dead have been identified as 54-year-old Joanna Scarlett from a Kingston 4 address and 60-year-old Esmeralda Evans who was visually impaired from Kingston 5.
