Waves Beach Club in Portmore, St Catherine, was buzzing with activity last Saturday night as Macka Diamond's birthday party got under way.

Throughout the night, the deejays kept patrons in the mood with songs such as Shades, Badda Dan Dem, Never Sober and I Love My Life, which was met with forwards from the crowd.

Macka Diamond was in an emotional state as she sang along to Popcaan's Dream shouting, "Dem seh mi a iron balloon, dem seh mi neva did ago buss!"

After Beenie Man sang happy birthday to her, the two reminisced on days of old, and shared a few laughs.

During the short break from music, the birthday cake was cut and Macka thanked all for coming out to celebrate the night with her.

The deejays at the controls again, they played for the ladies as they sang along to Baby, I've Got A Feeling and What's My Name, dancing the night away on the sand.

Macka's actual birthday will be tomorrow and she will be having a house party at Old Harbour Road, St Catherine.
