Gas increase again!

Consumers will have to pay more at the pumps starting today.

The state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, says the price of E-10, 87 and E-10 90 gasoline will move up by $1.68.

As a result, motorists will pay $88.33 to buy a litre of E-10 87 gasoline, while E-10 90 will move up to $89.69.

According to Petrojam, the upward movement in prices is influenced by changes to the United States Gulf peference prices.

In the past week, a barrel of oil has risen to US$90, the highest in 27 months amidst higher demand and unchanged production levels.

The price of automotive diesel oil will move up by $1.62 cents per litre as of today and sell for $88.69.
