36-y-o mason gunned down

Courtney Radcliff, a 36-year-old mason of Davis Town, St. Ann was gunned down at a club in the area Monday night.

Information received from the St. Ann's Bay CIB is that, about 9:30 p.m. Radcliff was at the Marley Inn Club when two men armed with guns entered the building. Explosions were heard and Radcliff was later found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police continue to investigate.

When THE STAR made contact with Deputy Superintendent Dalton Wright who is in charge of the St. Ann Division, he told THE STAR that they have not yet examined that particular incident.

According to DSP Wright they (club operators) are probably shaken up since the incident.

"We were told that that they are not able to speak right now and so we are cooperating with them because we want them to cooperate with us and we cannot force them to speak," he told THE STAR.

"We have received some amount of information and we are acting on that information in an effort to find a motive for that incident."
