Cops hunt for killers

The police in Westmoreland are trying to identify two men believed to be responsible for the murder and suspected robbery of two men in a ganja field in the parish on Sunday.

THE STAR learnt that the bodies of the two men were found with the hands and feet bound. They were later identified as Robert Smith, 37, and Robert Jones, both of Orange Hill in the parish.

According to reports, on Sunday afternoon, after 3 p.m., the police were called to a scene where two bodies were discovered.

The police are theorising that the men were tied up and robbed before being shot.
