Nesbeth - File Reggae artiste Nesbeth, fresh from a two-month tour of the United States, is back in Jamaica and ready to get right back to work. Known for songs such as Boardhouse, Guns Out and Drive By, the lyrically conscious artiste is ready to unleash lyrical fury on fans. Nesbeth is holding firm on local charts with his latest release, A Nuh So Me Waan Live. The track is number nine on the Stampede Street Chart and number 14 on Richie B's Music Countdown Charts. The video for the single has also been receiving good airplay on Hype TV, CVM, RE TV and other local and international television networks. Local fans can look out for Nesbeth on Sting and GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza later this month. "Right now I am in the studio every day, recording, trying to stay ahead of the game and doing quality music as usual. I performed on the final lap of the RETV School Tour that was held at my past school, Charlie Smith Comprehensive High School. The kids were excited about the performance and they knew my songs. I did songs like, Board House, Guns Out, Drive By and A Nuh So Me Waan Live, and yuh waan hear dem a sing along," said Nesbeth. Nesbeth recalled events from his US tour, saying, "The name of the concert was 'Reggae In The Falls'. I was the headline act and I performed with other local talents. The first show was on the 24th of October, in Massachusetts. I did a lot of college radio interviews around the place too. On the 4th of November, I did Pink Panther's Birthday Bash in New York. The final shows were on the 13th and 14th of November in Connecticut, and Noddy, Lukie D, Singing Melody, Tony Curtis and Thrilla U joined us. We had a grand time, interacting with and entertaining the fans there." 'Right now I am in the studio, every day recording, trying to stay ahead of the game and doing quality music as usual'. |
