Rasbert Turner, Portmore Star Writer The Goode Promotions, original Portmore dog show will be held at the Portmore Town Centre tomorrow. THE PORTMORE STAR was informed that the 2010 version of the event is a must-see for the entire family. "Last year, we had 300 dogs on show. This year our aim is to get more dogs to widen the variety of competition," Morris Goode, chief executive officer of Goode Promotions, said. He said there will value for money on the day. The show, which will be hosted by comedian Pretty Boy Floyd, will have a lunchtime entertainment segment with deejay Devra Bratt and other artistes. "For the last four years, the show was seen as only a dog show. We are going add more for the children to enjoy," Goode reasoned, adding that in addition to the dog fun, there will be children entertainment. There will be water slides, trampoline bounceabout, face-painting, clowns and other fun-filled activities. THE PORTMORE STAR learnt that there will also spot prizes and surprises. The competing dogs will be vying for the best performance, most obedient, most skilful and best overall champion. Gates open at 10 a.m. and it will take $200 to get inside the venue |
