'Dog Paw' human rights would be protected - 'Cowboy' |

|
Head of the St Andrew Central Police Division, Superintendent Derrick 'Cowboy'' Knight, said Christopher 'Dog Paw' Linton's human rights would be protected if he turns himself in to the police. ''We have seen where the relative of ''Dog Paw'' are claiming they are worried for his safety. They have no need to. If he hands himself over to the police with a lawyer, minister of religion or such person, his rights won't be violated,'' Knight told The Star. He said, however, if Linton decided to engage the police in a confrontation, then there can be no guarantees of what will happen. The crime-fighter said the police needed Linton, to help them in their investigations into a number of crimes throughout the division. Superintendent Knight said it is very important that Linton turn himself in to them as there are matters to be discussed. - R.T. |
